The offcut is still money
Sell 15 ft off a 22 ft length and the 7 ft that is left goes on a rack, not in a bin. Your stock reads “9 × 22 ft + 7 ft offcut” — the way the man standing at the rack sees it.
Priced off the circular
Type the company's printed rate and your own discount off it. The sale rate works itself out, and the cart shows the customer the same list he already knows. Next month's circular is one number per row.

Tap the length, type the pieces, and the line is 54 running feet. The bill prints the shape of the cut, not just a total — exactly how this trade writes it.
Cut feet or whole lengths
The same section goes out as 15 cut feet to a fabricator and ten whole 22 ft lengths to a contractor. One tap re-prices the line, and the shelf stays one honest number underneath.
Finish is the price tier
Anodised, powder-coated, wooden, mill finish — four rates for one section, and the finish prints on the bill. A wooden-coated length can never read the same as a mill one.
Model numbers and fast search

A customer wants fifteen feet. You cut it off a twenty-two foot length and seven feet is left standing against the wall. Every other program treats that seven feet as either nothing at all or as waste — and by the end of the month nobody knows what is really on the rack. I sell sections by the foot but also whole 22 ft lengths. Can it do both?
That is what it was built for. Type the feet for a cut, or tap the unit beside the quantity to switch the line to whole lengths and type how many. Your wholesale whole-length rate is honoured exactly, and the shelf stays one number underneath — so low-stock warnings and profit reports never go out of step.
What happens to the piece left over after a cut?
It goes on the Offcuts rack as sellable stock, by itself, when you enter the cut as pieces of a length. The screen shows two readings side by side: what your stock works out to (“9 × 22 ft + 7 ft offcut”) and the actual pieces written down. Sell one off the rack, or write it off if it is too short — then the loss lands on your monthly report with your reason.
The company sends a new circular every month. Do I have to re-price everything?
Each section carries the company's printed rate and your own discount off it, and the selling rate is worked out from those two — so you change the circular, not the price. The bill and the cart show the list the customer already knows, with your discount beside it.
Does it work without internet?
Completely. Aluminium Plus runs on your own computer — billing, stock, khata, reports, backups. Nothing needs a connection, and your shop's data never leaves your machine.

Can my salesman see my costs and profit?
No, unless you allow it. Cashier, manager and admin are separate roles: a cashier bills and takes payments but never sees cost or profit, and every sensitive action is written to an audit log with the user's name on it. He cannot even change a rate unless you let him.
Windows shows “Windows protected your PC” — is the download safe?
Yes. That blue notice is Microsoft SmartScreen being cautious with software from new publishers — every new Windows app shows it until enough people have installed it.
